FAQs

Where will camp happen in 2024?

We will be using the back property of Christ United Methodist Church this summer. There is a large field, a creek, a playground, and parking lot space to allow for all of our planned activities. We will have access to indoor bathrooms and storm shelters if needed. The church is located at 508 Franklin Road Franklin, TN 37069. We are a private day camp, unaffiliated with Christ UMC.

Will you offer bus transportation with bus stops throughout the Nashville/Franklin area?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer transportation services this year. We do hope to add that as camp grows in the future.

What are the camp hours each day?

Camp will run from 9 AM to 4 PM each day, with car line drop-off beginning at 8:45 AM and pick-up beginning at 3:45 PM. At this time, no before or after care will be provided.

When can I register my camper?

Registration Details coming soon! See Dates & Registration for more information.

How old does a camper have to be to come to WSDC?

This summer, we will host campers who are rising kindergarten (Fall of 2024) through rising sixth graders. They will be separated into two age groups: Sprouts (rising kindergarten, first and second graders) and Saplings (rising third through sixth graders).

How much does a camp session cost?

Each session is $375 per camper. Session 1’s fee will be a prorated cost of $300 because it is only a four-day week (Camp is closed on Memorial Day). Session 6 will be a 3-day mini camp and cost $225. A $50 non-refundable deposit per session is due at the time of registration. EarlyBird pricing of $360 for sessions 2-5 if paying in full at time of registration. The remaining balance for all sessions is due May 1st.
